1. why are your rates so low?

We are able to offer the best rates because of our ability to bulk buy and the requirement to pre pay before check in enables directrooms.com to negotiate preferential rates.

2. how do I go about booking a room?

a. Select the hotel then complete and submit our Booking form. You will need to complete separate forms for different destinations or more than one booking period.

b. Confirm availability : we will confirm the hotel(s) availability via email, advising you of your booking details and when payment is due.

c. Payment : you then can confirm your reservation by completing our Secure Online payment form or printing it and faxing it to us.

d. If within 14 days of check in : If you request a hotel reservation within 14 days of your arrival date, we will require your credit card information to process your booking. If the requested hotel is not available no charges will apply. Once availability is confirmed our cancellation policy will apply.

e. Hotel voucher : once payment is made by credit card, we will send you a hotel voucher (by email), which can be presented to the hotel when you check-in.

3. after I make my reservation, how long it takes to get the hotel's confirmation?

Usually within 1 working day (not including Sat, Sun & Public holidays).

When you make a booking with us, you immediately receive an order acknowledgement via e-mail, confirming that your order is now being processed. Please keep this e-mail, which will indicate your booking reference number.

At the same time we contact our agents with your request. Assuming availability, a reservation is then made with your information confirming your booking. Payment is usually required 14 days before the check in date.

Once payment has been processed, we will send you a hotel voucher, via an e-mail, showing your booking details. This voucher can then be presented upon check-in at the hotel.

If you do not receive any mail from us within 1 working day after placing an order, please kindly contact us immediately at info@directgolfing.com, quoting your booking reference number.

4. do you require my credit card details to make a reservation?

If within 14 days of the check in date: yes. If the period is greater than 14 days: no.

We will reserve the room once the booking has been made, without your credit card information. However full payment by credit card must be made at least 14 days prior to the check-in date as all reservations are on prepayment basis. For your convenience, directrooms.com offers credit card payment directly from our web site. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard and JCB.

5. whose name is the reservation made under?

The hotel's reservation is made under the guest name. You can check-in with either a hotel check-in voucher or your passport (showing the same name as on the hotel voucher that will send you (via email).

6. are children charged the full room rate?

Child rates vary from hotel to hotel. Rates are normally reduced for children under the age of 12 years. We can in any event check the child rate at your request and will confirm the details via email after your initial enquiry. As a general rule, children under the age of 12 are either free or half price in Asian hotels.

All of our listed rates are per room, normally for either 1 or 2 persons. In the case of a 3rd or 4th guest in a room, every hotel has a different policy as to whether you will be charged for an extra bed or not. After your booking has been confirmed we will send you an invoice indicating your extra person charges.

8. what if I wish to extend my stay?

To continue to take advantage of our low rates, you should contact us directly. If you book directly with the hotel to extend your stay, you will be charged a different rate to our prices

9. can I change my booking?

Yes

a. Before 14 days off your check-in date : An administration charge may be applicable, with the price adjustment between your original booking and the new. If the difference is in your favor, you will be refunded the amount less an administrative charge of 5%. We will endeavor to keep any administration charge to the absolute minimum.

b. Within 14 days off your check-in date : Our cancellation policy will apply.

10. what if the selected hotel is not available?

You will be notified via an e-mail (usually within 1 working days after placing your order). We will try and reserve another hotel at comparable standard and price, without obligation. No charge will be made for alternative hotels without your approval.

11. what is the latest time to make reservations?

Normally, we accept bookings that are made at least 5 working days before the check-in date. Late bookings are upon request and subject to availability. We will do everything possible to try and meet your requirements.

12. can I make a reservation directly through the hotel?

The special rates listed on our web site are only available through our service. If you would like to make a reservation directly with the hotel you will need to contact them directly.

13. what if I want a hotel not listed?

We are able to offer other hotels not listed on our web site. If the particular hotel you require is not listed, please email us using the contact us form giving information on the hotel name, location, check in/out dates, room type and number of rooms. We will then try and secure you a competitive price for this hotel.
